Balcony has fantastic views over outdoor pools and 30 yards/metres from Atlantic Ocean - not overlooked by any other apartments - also has view of part of the Harbour. Excellent restaurant in hotel, large lounges, library, sauna, indoor pool, fitness studio. Other good restaurants and cafes close by and in Funchal 5-10 minutes walk. Good local bus service and to the rest of this beautiful Island. Excellent walks all over the island and many people walk along the levadas which are the old irrigation channels. Very relaxed atmosphere. People are friendly and hotel service excellent. November is a lovely time of year and Christmas lights usually are put up during your stay. Studio ideally sleeps 2 adults & 2 children although bed settee is large.
